The new limited edition of RW01 Gamlet watches was launched by ZAVOD company in collaboration with the Ukrainian street artist Gamlet Zinkivskyi. It is a charity project, so the funds collected from the sales will go to the needs of the Ukrainian military.

The RW01 Gamlet watch is based on the unique RIDER1991 case from the Ukrainian designers Nazar Malets and Roman Heviuk. It continues the brand’s philosophy of free movement, embodied in its design, cafe racer aesthetics, and even its name. RIDER is an independent traveler who thirsts for adventure, victory and freedom.

And 1991 is the year of Ukraine’s independence. The total number of watches in the series is 30. Each model has its own serial number located on the caseback of the watch. The original artwork ‘Time Hears Us’ is located on one of the destroyed buildings in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Gamlet made it on that wall which had been lucky to survive the airstrike on March 14, 2022.

The large eye-catching words ‘Time Hears Us’ on the dial encourage everyone to think, to value and appreciate the time. The main idea of the project is perfectly supported with the minimalist design of the watch.

The robust 42mm case is made of 316L stainless steel. The winding crown is recessed into the case at the 2 o’clock position. The RW01 Gamlet series is presented in two models that differ in dial color. There is the black inscription on the white dial, and the black dial has the white inscription on it.

The NATO Straps are of different colors — black or green. All the watches are equipped with the reliable Miyota GL30 quartz movements and have the water resistance of 5 ATM. The watches come with two pins for the strap — yellow and blue — as well as a special screwdriver for their attachment.

The project team decided to add a poster to the watch. It is the image of the artwork ‘Time Hears Us’ signed by Gamlet Zinkivskyi. Each poster has its own unique serial number. The images are printed using a special method with a risograph.

The technique is on the verge of art. It combines high computer technologies and the best qualities of traditional screen printing. The RW01 Gamlet watch is not just an accessory, but also a work of art to impart strength and responsibility to everyone. ‘
